Nestled in the foothills of the breathtaking Cairngorm mountain range, Pityoulish lives up to the meaning of its Pictish name - bright, beautiful place.

Pityoulish, in the Cairngorm National Park, is an area of great scenic beauty, throughout the seasons, rich in diverse plant and animal life; mountain hare, red deer, osprey, red squirrel, golden eagles, capercaillie, black game, crested tits, cross bills, and pine martens, are to mention but a few of the regions varied native wildlife.

The area is steeped in history and has a variety of archeological sites of great interest.

Pityoulish has its own fishing on the world-famous River Spey, and also on tranquil Loch Pityoulish. It is in the perfect location for easy access onto Cairngorm footpaths, and other attractions such as skiing, climbing, wind-surfing, riding, golf, bird-wathcing, and whiskey trails, are all near at hand.

We offer a variety of traditional self-catering cottages. The cottages are basic but comfortable and are available to rent, on a weekly basis, all-year-round.

Please refer to the menu bar above, to view our holiday cottages, and contact us via phone or email to check for availability.

Whether it is peace and quiet, historic interest, or adventure sports, you are after, this Highland district has something for all the family.
